How can there be 2 earths in battlestar galactica?
Didnt’ they already land on earth and it was desamated by a nuclear holocaust? They clearly show North American in Crossroads Part II. How can they land on the same planet twice? Is there time travel involved because they travel at light speed? someone please explain the 2 earths thing?
The first ‘Earth’ was a planet that seemed similar to our Earth, but there was no verification it was, outside of a broken bridge which looked similar to the Brooklyn Bridge. The Earth they found last night was not the one they were originally looking for, in the sense that it was not one of the original tribes’ Earth, but they were looking for it nonetheless, because it was what they wanted, and they thought they deserved. This is definitely ‘our’ Earth, they say so specifically (showing MSNBC on tv with Robot technology), as well as a very detailed showing of the continent of Australia. The series says the distance was a million light years between Caprica and Earth, meaning that our Earth was on the other side of the galaxy from Caprica.
